HUT™ Products offers a variety or right and left handed steel tapered spindles, as well as 3" and 6" buffing wheels. Tapered spindles are simple devices that allow you to change buffing wheels in about 30 seconds. The four inch long spindles slip over the motor shaft and are fastened in place with set screws. As you face the buffer, note which side the shaft is on. If it is on the left, you will need to order left-handed threads. Likewise, if the shaft is on the right, you will need the right-handed threads. (Note: the top of the buffing wheel must rotate toward you.) The buffing wheels have a shellac hardened center into which the tapered spindle, with its deep coarse threads, can be screwed on or off easlily. HUT™ Products offers 3" and 6" Muslin buffs.
